This is one of Balemaker’s new unique Double Pavilion guest house designs, built for our esteemed customers, former WSL surfer Jack Freestone and his beautiful and amazing wife, Alana Blanchard, herself a former Pipeline Women’s Champion amongst a host of other accolades in the surfing world. Both Jack and Alana are such a pleasure to work with, and we began the design and prefabrication process with them back in May 2023. The house fully conforms to the new 1,100 sqft allowable interior living space guest house requirements for the Island of Hawaii. The house has two interconnected pavilions: one with a nice kitchen and dining/living space and an amazing covered lanai. The second pavilion has two bedrooms and a large centered bathroom between them. The house is currently under reassembly onsite with our team from Whitten Woodworks and is close to completion now.
